Dr. Watts

Dr. Watts has been involved in clinical nutrition for 25 years. Over the past 20 years his research has focused on the study of tissue mineral patterns found in human hair. Having reviewed over 300,000 tissue mineral profiles, he has identified interrelationships between minerals, vitamins and the neuro-endocrine system. He has further classified vitamins, minerals, herbs, foods, water and drugs into specific categories according to their metabolic effects. His research has led to the development and recognition of individual tissue mineral patterns associated with various disease trends, metabolic types and even emotional characteristics.

He served as a consultant and Research Director for Analytical Research, Ortho-Molecular Labs, Metabolic Products, and Endo-Met Labs, and was involved in the development and clinical application of hair tissue mineral analysis.

Dr. Watts has written over 50 scientific publications and is invited to lecture internationally. He provides nutritional evaluations and consultations to health care professionals worldwide, while serving as Director of Research for Trace Elements, Inc., a federally licensed clinical laboratory.

Dr. Watts is a graduate of Logan College, and received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1974. He received a Doctorate in Nutrition, in 1984, from the International University of Nutrition. He holds a Certification in Clinical Nutrition, and is a Diplomat of the American Chiropractic Board of Nutrition.
